Learning to Scuba Dive is the start of an adventure in which you will explore the amazing beauty and mystery of another world. SCUBA Diving is one of the most exciting and invigorating activities available and contrary to most believe it is actually easy and safe to learn. At Paya Diver’s Cove, we have our on-site pool suitable for dive instruction. We pride ourselves on our friendly personal service and also in the importance of safe diving. Our divemasters and instructors are there to help you get the most out of your diving experiences.

Why discover Scuba Diving?
When you participate in a Discover Scuba Diving program, you will experience the excitement and adventure – freedom and serenity. Nothing compares to the “weightless” exhilaration of breathing underwater. Only a diver knows the feeling!

What do I need to start?
- Minimum age: 10
- A completed and signed Discover Scuba Diving Form & Medical statement
- Basic swimming ability

What will I do?
During your adventure, you’ll master some basic safety concepts and scuba skills.
A short session in the pool will be conducted to familiarize you with the equipment, then off to the underwater realm.

How long will it take?
Get ready to dive today. All you need is just 2 to 3 hours of your time.

Where can I go from here?
As soon as you have Discover Scuba Diving, you will be better prepared to take the next step. The Padi Open Water course which covers a more comprehensive study in the safety aspects of diving would award you with a license to dive anywhere in the world.

Paya Diver’s Cove
With our large range of equipment, we offer both shore and boat dives to some of Tioman’s best dive sites. An abundant growth of corals along with turtles, reef sharks, large moray eels, school of jacks and barracudas can be found everywhere. Dive courses are also available for the first timers to the pros.
