We currently do not offer Honeymoon Packages, but special flower decorations for your bed and a bottle of wine upon check-in can be arranged in advance at a minimal cost.

- How can I travel from KL to Tioman?
To get to Mersing from KL, take a Transnasional bus from Puduraya bus station. Buses depart from Puduraya bus station four times per day, at 9.00 am, 12.30 pm, 6.00pm and 11.30 pm. Travel time is approx. 5 hours.

From Mersing there are four services, at 10.00 am, 12.30 pm, 6.00 pm and 10.00 pm. Travel time is the same as the KL-Mersing journey. For inquiries on Mersing bus services, you can call 607-7995698.
Upon arrival at Mersing, you can purchase fast ferry tickets to Paya Beach Resort at the jetty. The ferry service operates from 7.00 am to 4.00 pm daily.
If you wish us to book the ferry tickets in advance for you, kindly advise details of your arrival time at Mersing.

- How far from the jetty at Tioman to Paya Beach Resort?
All ferries stop at our jetty at Paya village on Tioman. From the jetty, our Reception desk is only a 5-minute walk away.

- I will be flying directly to Tioman. Can I change my two-way ferry ticket to a two-way boat transfer?
Yes. Upon arrival into Kampong Teket at Tioman, you will be met and transferred to Paya Beach Resort by boat. The boat ride takes about 15 minutes. To arrange for a boat transfer, kindly advise us of the details of your flight number and time of arrival at Tioman.

- What is the check-in time and check-out time?
Our standard daily check-in time is at 2.00pm and check-out time is 10am. If you are arriving at an earlier time, please inform us in advance so we can try to accommodate your arrival and check-in sooner.

- What are the different types of Chalets that are available?
You can choose from 6 different types of Chalets to suit your taste: Standard, Superior (sea-facing or beach front), Deluxe Chalets or Suites, and Paya Lodge.
All rooms are sea-facing (except Aman Damai Wing) with a private balcony and are air-conditioned with hot water baths. Cable television and tea/coffee making facilities are available in every room.

- Does every chalet have a refrigerator?
Only Deluxe Chalets and Deluxe Suites have a mini fridge. You may also choose to rent one for your stay for an additional RM20 per day at the Reception desk.

- What are the dining options at Paya Beach Resort?
Meals and snacks are served at our main restaurant, open from 7.00am to 9.30pm daily. Meals ordered from our ala-carte menu starts from RM10 upwards per person. Choose from a wide selection of dishes from healthy salads to live lobster and crab, Malaysian curries and Chinese stir-fry recipes.
You can also avail of our daily buffet dinner at RM25+ per adult, except Saturdays where we offer a delicious BBQ Dinner at RM30+ per adult.
For a choice of western dishes, duty free wine, beer and liquor, The Islander's Beach Club serves guests from 11am to 1.00am.
Outside the resort, there are several smaller eateries around Paya village you can choose from. (You may want to know that prices are about the same as our restaurant)

- Is there a swimming pool at Paya Beach Resort?
We have a swimming pool located at the back of the restaurant area.

- Can I rent snorkeling equipment at the resort?
Yes. You can rent Mask/Snorkel (RM8), Fins (RM7) and Life Jackets (RM7) from our Activity Desk.

- Is there Internet access at the resort?
Paya Beach Resort offers 24-hour WiFi access at public areas for RM20 per day, guests to provide their own notebook PC.
Alternatively, the Cyber Cafe offers Internet access at RM5 per block of 30 minutes (open from 7am to 10pm).

- Are there ATM facilities on Tioman?
No, there are no ATM facilities on Tioman, but we accept Visa and MasterCard credit cards. For purchases and expenses outside the resort, we advise guests to bring cash.

- Is there a medical clinic on Tioman?
The nearest government clinic is located at Teket village, 15 minutes away by speedboat. The contact number for the Clinic is 09-4191880.

Yes. The Mosque is located at Kampong Genting, about 20 minutes from the resort by boat.
