Ferrata Dragon Horn Hiking Trip

Rising high above Mukut Village, Dragon Horn is one of Pulau Tioman’s most iconic and challenging natural landmarks. Standing at approximately 710 metres above sea level, its twin granite pinnacles resemble the horns of a mighty dragon, dominating the island’s southern skyline. The journey begins at 8:30am and concludes around 5:00pm. Minimum age: 18 years old and above.

After breakfast at the resort, travel by sea taxi to Mukut Village, where your adventure begins. Upon arrival, all participants will be required to sign a disclaimer form before the activity commences. The hike starts with a comprehensive safety briefing conducted by your guides. During the trek, there will be rest stops at View Point 9 and Check Point 10.

Before starting the Via Ferrata (Vertical Rock-Face Climbing) section, a second mandatory safety briefing will be conducted. Your guides will explain the correct use of the equipment and safety procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. At the Via Ferrata starting point, guides will provide all necessary safety equipment, including safety harness, helmet, via ferrata safety gear. Participants will then climb the final 30 metres of the rock face to reach the spectacular viewpoint at approximately 710 metres above sea level. Enjoy a 20-minute rest while taking in the breathtaking panoramic views of Tioman Island and its surrounding waters. Afterwards, descend the same 30-metre section back to the starting point, take a short rest, and continue the trek down towards Check Point 1 before returning to Mukut Village.

Note:Return boat transfers between Paya Village and Mukut Village are included. Please take note of the things to bring below
